Adam Yu, BASc (Biomedical Engineering), MPT
Provisional Physiotherapist (he/him)
Adam completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and is excited to be practicing in the community where he grew up. He enjoys working with individuals of all ages and abilities, helping them achieve their goals – whether that’s going for a walk around the block, returning to work, or training for their first marathon. Adam uses a combination of hands-on manual therapy, exercise, and patient education in his treatment. His goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools to manage their health and achieve lasting results.
Prior to pursuing a career in physiotherapy, Adam obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. His background in engineering continues to influence his approach to physiotherapy, where he enjoys the problem-solving aspect of understanding his clients’ goals and finding unique and creative ways to address them.
In his spare time, Adam can be found exploring British Columbia’s backcountry or sampling Vancouver’s food scene.
