Neurological rehabilitation is a branch of physiotherapy dedicated to helping those with neurological impairments gain function and quality of life. Many conditions affect the nervous system and can be treated with physiotherapy. These conditions include:
Stroke
Spinal cord injury
Multiple sclerosis
Parkinson’s disease
Guillian Barré Syndrome
Traumatic and acute brain injuries
A neurological physiotherapist uses a hands-on approach to treat people with neurological disorders.
Our physiotherapist Caroline Leete treats people with neurological disorders.
What should I expect during my assessment?
The assessment typically lasts 50 minutes and is conducted both in our gym and a private treatment room.
In the assessment, your physiotherapist will complete a subjective history, physical assessment and movement analysis. Once the assessment is completed, a customized treatment plan will be designed for you.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
You are welcome to bring a loved one with you to the appointment.
We accept ICBC and WorksafeBC claims. We also offer direct billing to most extended health insurance companies.
If this will be your first visit to our clinic, please complete the paperwork either online or arrive at our clinic 10 minutes before your appointment is scheduled to begin.
